Acting jointly for St Modwen with JLL, Prop-Search is delighted to confirm the sale of the investment interest of Wellingborough Retail Park on London Road in Wellingborough.
The scheme comprises some 35,200 sq ft, including a Lidl supermarket of 22,500 sq ft), a 4,000 sq ft drive-thru McDonalds Restaurant and four 2,172 sq ft retail units let to Starbucks, HSL & Subway - with the last unit under offer. The development has generated in excess of 100 new jobs.
Simon Toseland, a Director of Prop-Search, responsible for the initial vision and deliverance of the project said: “This development re-used a redundant brownfield site through the expertise of the regeneration specialist St Modwen and delivered a fitting landmark development at the entrance to Wellingborough. It complements surrounding schemes including Castlefields Retail Park and the new LoknStore development at Victoria Retail Park; also initiated through our Wellingborough team.”
