The ongoing demand for mid-sized units in Northampton is proving to be a sustainable trend with the agency team, acting for developer Seven Capital, reporting the letting of a speculative Grade A facility at Pineham.
The 63,484 sq ft detached distribution warehouse - known as Seven 60 at Pineham - has been acquired by HellermanTyton Data Ltd, the global leader in the provision of network infrastructure cabling solutions. The company has been established in Northampton since 1988, attracted by its proximity to the motorway network and now forms part of HellermanTyton Group Plc which employs people across 39 counties.
The landlord’s agency team - Burbage Realty, MWRE, Prop-Search and Savills - agreed the letting on the basis of a new 10 year lease at a rent equating to £6.95 per sq ft.
Richard Baker, a Director of Prop-Search, said: “Pineham has continually proven to be an exceedingly popular location for warehouse and logistics occupiers. This unit has provided an ideal upgrade for the occupier in terms of both size and specification.”
“There continues to be strong occupier demand for new space after years of limited availability. This has resulted in units letting or selling as and when developers are able to bring them into the market.”
“We are delighted to have worked as part of the team to successfully complete this project”.
