Major development site gets new agent

Prop-Search has received instructions to work alongside Budworth Hardcastle to promote Manton Park, a significant development site in Corby.

Acting on behalf of Frenbury Developments, the Northamptonshire agent has already received a positive reaction to the site, which comes at a time when deliverable development opportunities in the area are limited.

The 23 acre site is ideally located adjacent to the 114,000 sq ft Peel Retail Centre - anchored by Asda, and the Pheonix Park Industrial Estate. It is prominently situated only one mile outside of the town centre and on one of the main routes into Corby.

Planning is available for a variety of uses including warehouse, factory, motor dealerships and offices. Buildings are available to purchase or rent on a design and build basis to suit occupier specific needs within the 10,000 sq ft to 500,000 sq ft size range. . Alternatively, the developer will consider a sale of plots from one acre.

Wally French of Frenbury Developments said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Prop-Search as joint agents on this exciting project. The site is suitable for a variety of uses and the occupier contacts and track record of the Prop-Search team will be invaluable to the successful delivery of this scheme.”

Ian Harman, a Director at Prop-Search added: “We are extremely encouraged by the firm interest already shown in the site but not surprised. It is clear that good secondary existing stock has been taken up, leaving little or no new strong strategic land for expanding organisations. This prime site provides a real opportunity for existing companies based in Corby and for those from the wider region to invest in the town.”

This new instruction for Prop-Search follows the recent opening of its new office in Northampton, working in conjunction with the existing offices in Wellingborough and Milton Keynes, allowing the company to provide unrivalled regional market driven advice.”
