A further Director has left Lambert Smith Hampton's Northampton office to join the expanding commercial property agent Prop-Search.
Richard Baker BSc MRICS has been appointed as Director, specialising in industrial and logistics, and will be based at the company's new office at Queensbridge, Northampton.
Richard commenced his career in commercial property in private practise at GVA Grimley before joining Lambert Smith Hampton in 2004. He has worked for high profile clients including Aberdeen Property Investors, Wolseley UK, Aviva Investors and Wilson Bowden, and been responsible for deals including the letting of a 170,000 sq ft warehouse in Rugby, a 180,000 sq ft warehouse in Corby and various lettings at a 300,000 warehouse complex in Sywell.
Richard's appointment follows the announcement earlier this month that Ian Harman has also parted company with Lambert Smith Hampton where he was a Director within the Industrial and Logistics department in Northampton for nearly 25 years.

Prop-Search was founded in Wellingborough four years ago by Chris Billson and Simon Toseland who have worked in the Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire region since 1987. During 2010 and 2011, the team expanded to include the appointment Samantha Jones MCIPR MCIJ, Peter Sullivan FRICS and David Robbins BSc MRICS.
