The expansion and imminent relocation of Handcraft Manufacturing to Wellingborough has freed up two commercial properties in Thrapston.
Its showroom facility at 7 The Bullring, to the rear of the High Street, comprises 838 sq ft of retail space with an adjacent 284 sq ft. Internally, the property is fitted to a high specification to feature gas fired central heating, Category II lighting, perimeter trunking and good quality vinyl flooring. It is being offered to let on a new sub-lease to expire no later than summer 2016, although as longer lease term may be available by negotiation.
The production facility at 22-28 Grove Road, Thrapston is being offered for sale and comprises approximately 7,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation. It features a maximum eaves height of just over three meters and two loading doors. The building occupies a site of approximately 0.33 acres and could be suitable for re-development opportunities, subject to planning.
Handcraft Manufacturing will shortly relocate to 9/11 Denington Road, Wellingborough; a 17,406 sq ft production headquarters facility. The company, established in 1997 designs, manufacturers and supplies kitchen, bathroom and office furniture to retailers and traders in the construction industry. Paul Manchett, a Director of Handcraft Manufacturing, said: “We will be sorry to leave Thrapston but our continued investment in state of the art machinery and increased productivity has necessitated the move.”
