Prop-Search surveyor wins dealmaker for third year

Samantha Jones

Samantha Jones, a Surveyor at Prop-Search has been named Northamptonshire’s Dealmaker of the Year for the third consecutive year in a prestigious national competition.

Samantha had been recognised by the Estates Gazette’s online service - EGi - in their annual competition for the country’s most active agents.  The Estates Gazette EGi team gather information regarding deals transacted for a 12 month period from April 2013.  This covers all sectors of the market including industrial, office, retail and leisure.

Samantha has worked for Prop-Search for just over three and a half years, and has detailed knowledge of the Northamptonshire commercial property market - amassed over 25 years - including the history of development and aspirations of the local community.  She has played a key role in business space agency within the region and has a clear understanding of the area.

Commenting on the award, Samantha said: “I am thrilled to have retained my position as Northamptonshire most active agent.  It’s all about knowing your market, the players in it and having tenacity and keeping a dialogue going with people.  Although the market has seen signs of improvement, particularly since the beginning of the year, it remains challenging, so to retain this accolade for the third year running is especially pleasing.”

She added: “The dedicated team at Prop-Search know the local market intimately and together our extensive knowledge gives unrivalled service to clients.  We are excited about future investment in Northamptonshire and growth opportunities that it has to offer.”

Commenting on Samantha’s success, Simon Toseland, a Director of Prop-Search, said: “I am delighted for Sam and winning this award for the third consecutive year reinforces recognition through independent means of her hard work and straight forward, no-nonsense approach.  We pride ourselves on having exceptional individuals working for us, giving clients and applicants clear market advice.”

Besides her work at Prop-Search, Samantha is also a Director of the Wellingborough Town Centre Partnership which works to actively identify opportunities for regeneration and growth of the town centre as well as its general promotion within the East Midlands.

Prop-Search offers a multi-disciplinary property service which includes commercial agency (lettings/sales), lease renewals and rent reviews, development and investment consultancy, building surveying, rating, and property management through Prop-Manage.  It has offices in Wellingborough, Northampton and Milton Keynes.
