With glowing testimonials from high profile organisations such as Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Kier, it is not surprising that L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage is expanding.
Established for over 30 years and a leading name in the plant hire industry, the company has taken additional premises in Northamptonshire. The company already occupies premises on Sanders Lodge in Rushden and has now committed to taking a further depot in the town.
The company has agreed terms to lease the former DPD depot at Francis Court. The property has been taken on a new five year lease through commercial property agent Prop-Search, acting on behalf of the landlord Crown Park Estates.
The depot comprises a detached steel frame building and offers a warehouse area of 17,547 sq ft with 17 loading doors - 14 of which are cross-dock - and an eaves height of five metres. Offices are provided on two floors and provide a total of 5,140 sq ft including reception, canteen, staff kitchen, conference room and additional staff facilities. Externally, there is a large open service yard with separate car parking for 50 plus vehicles.
Simon Toseland, a Director of Prop-Search, said: “This unit had become vacant following DPD’s £1 million investment in a new 43,000 sq ft purpose-built depot in Raunds.”
“Being located close to its existing operations, it suited L Lynch who has been very successful in securing new contracts to supply plant to many of the highway improvements currently underway in Northamptonshire. It will be used for the storage of plant ready for delivery to clients.”
